SHADOW OF WAR
I worked with a fantastic team of collaborators. Below outlines work I was heavily involved in either directly or overseeing.
Prototyping: I owned the region layout from scratch, rapidly prototyping environments to establish gameplay flow, landmarks, and vistas using minimal early reference.
Terrain: I created terrain including mountain ranges, rivers, and silhouettes, and defined core material setups before transitioning work to dedicated material artists.
Geology/Rocks: I planned, modeled, sculpted, and textured regional geology and supported other team members with rock asset creation.
Architecture: I designed and built modular ruin kits meeting strict combat metrics, created visual targets for outsourcing, and authored orc structures and fort structures.
Texturing: I textured unique assets and collaborated closely with material artists, using Designer, ZBrush, or Painter depending on efficiency and pipeline needs.
Additional: I worked directly with Vista artists to ensure cohesive composition and visual fidelity in my zones. Created assets for UI environments and the map.
Polish and Bug Fixing: I finalized assets, resolved polish bugs, created and adjusted HLODs, and contributed to set dressing during late-stage development.
SHADOW OF MORDOR - Game of the Year
Terrain, Landscape, Geology (geometry based) creation and modification.
Created grasses, gameplay hide shrubs, and all trees.
Assisted across the board with various architectural and landscape work ensuring traversal was all functional and to metric, occasionally needing to create props or additional architecture. Handled all distant “HLODs” which were manual and required a lot of remeshing and proxy texture baking work at the time.
